Eldarmind is a play on the word Elder—those who, across cultures and history, are recognised as carriers of wisdom. It also draws from Tolkien’s mythology: the Eldar, the West Elves wandering the stars who followed the call of the Divine into the Great Journey. Tolkien believed myth could uniquely convey truth, and much of Eldarmind’s work draws on this, using story and archetype as powerful tools for insight and transformation.

We live out of the stories we tell ourselves. In group work with Daz, you’ll experience the playful yet profound lens of Tolkien’s archetypes and narrative arcs applied to organisational life.

The name also reflects a deep conviction about the mind. Dallas Willard describes the mind as both energy and the arena of life over which we have the greatest control. Scripture, too, speaks of the mind as the place of transformation and renewal (Romans 12), of setting our thoughts on higher things (Colossians 3), and as an instrument of unity (1 Peter, Philippians 1, 1 Corinthians 1–2, Romans 7).

Eldarmind is therefore about the integration of heart and mind on a wisdom pathway—a path not captive to the tyranny of cultural trends, but one that grounds us in being itself, and opens us to true transformation.

Eldarmind provides consulting services in the areas of vision casting, creating culture, managing conflict and developing leadership character. We have a network of likeminded friends who we refer to for legal, governance, marketing, fundraising and financial advice.

As a startup, its Daz only at this point. Daz brings over 30 years of leadership experience across diverse fields marked by both challenge and innovation. He has launched startups, sustained established systems, reformed organisational culture, reoriented strategy, and navigated significant complexity—including leadership dysfunction and difficult personalities. These experiences have shaped his passion for organisational excellence: clarifying and casting timely vision, cultivating cultures of trust, developing leaders and teams where character outweighs gifting, and learning to wisely differentiate from the emotional systems that so often drive organisations. 

Eldarmind specializes in the religious, NFP sector, with a passion to assist leaders and teams in other industries, particularly banking, hospitality, the arts, and small business/startups.
